1. Information we collect
We collect the following information when you use the app: your profile name, mobile number, your match predictions and their results (points, leaderboard position). When you join a paid pool we also store the payment proof you upload (the screenshot of your transfer) and the entry amount, solely so the administrator can verify the payment. Only the administrator sees that proof; it is kept in private storage and is not shared with anyone else. We do not collect location data, contacts, card numbers or banking credentials: the app does not process payments and never asks for those details.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to: calculate your prediction points, show standings within each pool, send you access codes, notices and promotions by SMS (see section 5), and allow other participants of your pool to see your name and score.
3. How we share your information
We don't sell your data or hand it to third parties for commercial purposes. To operate and improve the app we use service providers that act as data processors, processing data on our behalf and under our instructions (see section 4). The only information visible to other users is your name and score within the pools you participate in; your mobile number is not visible to other participants.
4. Third-party providers and tools
We use LabsMobile (001TECH SL, Spain) as a data processor to send text messages: it only receives your mobile number and the text of each message. We use PostHog as a data processor for product analytics on servers located in the United States. It records the pages you visit and your interactions (clicks) in a pseudonymized way to understand usage and improve the experience; we don't send it your mobile number and the values you type into forms are not captured. We don't use session replay or sell this information.
5. Text messages (SMS)
By signing up and using La Polla Colombiana you agree to receive text messages on your phone with your access codes, notices about the pools you take part in (payments, closings and results) and promotions for new pools. Messages carry the La Polla Colombiana name. If you no longer want to receive promotions, write to us at info@lapollacolombiana.com and we will stop sending them; access codes and notices about your pools keep being sent while you have an account.
6. Data deletion
If you want to delete your account and all your data, write to us at info@lapollacolombiana.com and we'll process your request within 30 days.
